Any religion that inspires anything but mercy and compassion on sinners is a false religion that does not follow Christ.
Religion says, “Don’t touch a leper.” Jesus touched them and healed them.
Religion says, “Don’t touch anyone with a flow of blood.” Jesus felt the woman touch His garment and He healed her.
Religion says, “Don’t hang out with sinners.” Jesus hung with sinners and showed them mercy.
The only sinners Jesus had harsh words for were the ones who condemned other sinners.
